As a life long resident of Duluth tomorrow is an exciting day. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and Grandmas Marathon will go off without any hitches.
I have completed the half marathon one time and I know how much training is involved to complete this event and I have much respect for anyone who will be running, walking and using a wheel chair to complete the 13.2 or 26.2 mile course.
I am glad to hear that security will be heightened in light of the tragedy at the Boston Marathon and I pray Duluth will be a very safe place.
